As for the model, great work so far, WO! Can't wait to see it finished. The front sort of reminds me of a Lucifer head, though the forward cannons are closer together.

Wow looking good, i'm glad someone finally has made this model, i remember making that when i was known as Apothess, i passed the model on to Thunder as he was known back then, it was for the Small victories campaign i think it was called? but was never finished, think i mite still have a copy of my original on a cd somewhere.

The Vasudans get all the best ships!

Since you don't know what the cylinder is for, and you don't know where to put your fighterbay, why not do the obvious and declare the rotate-y thing some kind of super Vasudan launching technology?  They usually launch through those tube things anyway... so this would be practical on a ship of this size... or ... something.  It's unlikely it's anything else like a missile launcher, since Vasudans never seemed to be into that sort of thing.

The ventral beam is such a Vasudan-y thing.   AAAfs on the tips of the head antenna!  You know it makes sense!

N00bish:  can you give us an idea of scale?  I imagine it's in the 2km+ zone, but how much larger than typical destroyers is it?

I've decided to put the fighter bay farther up front than I first posted, so I could get the huge size I wanted.

About the spinning thing, I'll make it a shield generator or something.

Size is gonna be from 2.5 to 3 kilos.
