That and the Cut-scenes; I first played FS1 only a few months ago, that was after about a Year or so of FS2, and while i must concede that the overall Graphics in terms of Background Nebulae in FS1 are, in essence, nicely coloured blobs, everything else looked as good as I thought it would be.
But it was the Cut-scenes that really floored me. In FS2, the opening Cinematic just doesn't do anything for me, the Orion is blocky, Lucy's okay, but not great, and those damn Medusas! The opening FS1 Cinematic I just plain love; the slow pullback out of the flaming engine, the cockpitt of the Apollo, and Riviera Station itself, it all just looks amazingly better than anything FS2 had to offer Cinematically...well, save the Supernova of course

...
And I agree with the FSPort, good as it is, just missing the same feel that FS1 put forth. I actually played the Port before i played Retail FS1, and while I stopped playing the Port halfway through, i just couldn't put the Joystick down during the real FS1 (that's not to say the Port is a lacklustre experience, it just doesn't have the same feel).
...and that, ladies and gentlemen, is my Three Cents, i'd like my change now please
