Personally, I think 'Being a Media Attention Whore who obviously thinks about violence far too much', should be an offence. After all, it seems to me that this guy sees violence in far more places than most people. That suggests a mental imbalance and tendencies towards violence within the person, hence the almost frenzied attempt to deny those emotions to himself.
Personally, I'm glad I'l never meet Jack Thompson, his actions suggest he is the sort of person who would turn into a kicking, pinching, scratching, biting animal who wouldn't stop until he kills the other person. That, I think, is what scares him so much, not other people.
