Actually that isn't true. I love the BBC.

Whats the matter? Freedom loving Chinese don't want you to read articles from the BBC?

Screw you, you fascist. :p

Actually I can access most western news sources (Reuters, Washington Post, Fox, etc), just not the BBC.

EDIT: And thanks Aldo, before a certain someone decided to turn this into a political thread.

"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

Actually I was just joking around. And I am shocked, they allow fox news but not the BBC? I am absolutly floored.

  • I will never leave.
Fox is probably identified as a humorous news site.  Hell, if I didn't know any better, I'd think the same thing.

I know you were.

Fox news is much less reliable than the BBC, that is probably why it is allowed. For a long time it was blocked, along with CNN and the Washington Post, amoung others. But things are changing here.
