Ir's a bit square.  Why don't you shift the bottom half to be the right half?

TBH, I'm not a fan of sig images.  I don't really see the point.

Hmmmm... must admit, I've always been silently glad that the admin here didn't allow siggy pics, they end up taking more room than the posts.

That said, from an artisitic point of view, I'll agree it's a bit square, looks sort of like an RPG 'select your character' screen, but nice images anyway :)

I'd make it a bit more flat.

And I'm really glad we don't have sig images or avatars here...it just looks cleaner.

What kind of cookie and will you pay shipping and handling?

Seriously though siggys need to be more like banners.

Or use an image like this one I use in other forums.

[color=66ff00]Who was it that ranted about sigs being akin to a digital penis? (ZB?)
I agree wholeheartedly.

Ruins the browsing experience for 56K'ers and draws attention away from the actual information in the post.

It's nice, but a bit square - stretch it horizontal and mesh the pics together :)

And anyway, I agree - no sig images means more post, less pictures. It's annoying to sit through 40 different sigs telling about how cool, deadly, or assassin like a person is.

 If it weren't a complete logical fallacy, I would suggest that someone add that to their sig.

I hate signature images too. It's a good thing none of the forums I visit allow them. I personally don't bother with signatures at all in many cases.

multi-line signatures are stupid too.

I wish we had "proper" avatars though, it makes identifying who posted waht so much easier, ofcourse most of the more important posters have a somwhat uniqe combination of project avatars...
actualy, mabye not.

But it would give the admins nightmares trying to filter out the porn.  Especially if someone hosted their avatar at, say, penguinbomb.

I wouldn't mind seeing those either as long as they are kept small enough (64x64 static image). They do help in identifying posters at a quick glance while scrolling through a page. All the other forums I've seen either allow custom ones or have a large list of predefined ones to choose from. (well, except for the VBB, but that was years ago)
