Has anyone ever attempted it?  If so, was it any good?  I think it would be awesome if the story was right and it was executed well.

It would be hard to exectute well..

How does a shivan chain of command look? what are their motives? How would their briefings/debriefings look like?

And most importantly - shivans have superiror numbers and tech on their side - ow do you make a challenging mission there without nerfing them totaly?

Guess I'm gonna have to do some research on the shivans then...

That hidden terror campaign looked pretty cool, but it hasn't updated in a long time.

Put BFReds on all your wingmen's ships, make every single mission escort one, and disable the depart command.

Desperation Chapter 4 or 5 will feature you fighting alongside the in shivan fighters, but most likely you'll be , under against the .

But I have to finish Chapter 3 first, as well as see what's screwing up chapter 2 so much :(

Why not just retell the FS1 campaign from the Shivan's point of view?

The problem is that you would probably run into Alpha 1 at some point and get owned.

Kind of pointless IMO and would probably be heavily subject to our own take on events. More interesting I think would be an original story from the perspective of the Shivans, such as, again, Hidden Terror. I think rather than anyone starting a new campaign from the Shivan's perspective it would be a better idea to help out with that one.

The FS1 campaign would be rather fun, methinks. You could even have Alpha 1 cameo in some missions...like the mission where you have to scan the Lucifer; tell that from the perspective of the Shivans that launch from the Lucifer, or guarding the fleet. :D
