Don't know how many of you lissen to Aaliyah but today, Sunday 26 2001 at 650 am a plane when down  after take off in the bahamas. She died along with a film crew and the pilot. She will be missed greatly

I didn't know until my friend told me about the incident. Sad that this had to happen.

Another popular singer has just perished in a plane crash. The lead singer from the old Australian band Skyhooks.

A couple of days ago I just saw a plane try to land with its landing gear raised on the news... What's going on with aviation at the moment?!

It's a Shivan conspirasy.

'Tis sad...  Even if I never listened to her either, it's terrible to hear of a death...

Especially since the pilot was a druggy, and was inexperienced... Or so says New York Newsday...(Don't quote me on that)

The Airline Industry should do better screening of their pilots. THESE TRADGEDIES DO NOT HAVE TO HAPPEN.

I heard that the film crew had wanted so desperately to get all of their gear with them back to wherever that they were going, that they paid off the pilot to carry their gear with them on the plane.  They figured that if they could fit it in the cabin, it wouldn't be a problem.  However, that made the plane about 500 pounds overweight, so it went into the ground.  It was just a boneheaded mistake on the crew's part and an apathetic pilot that got them all killed.

Second, the airline industry didn't screen the pilot because he wasn't in an airline.  I order to save money (cheap bastards) they hired the pilot for a company that does tour flights to fly them.  What they were doing was illegal.
