Guten tag erst einmal,

ich möchte mich entschuldigen das ich hier auf deutsch schreibe, aber mein englisch ist bescheiden.

Nun ich will gleich zur sache kommen:
Ich will zu dem TBP Mod eine Kampange kreieren jedoch fehlen einige wichtige datein. Zum Beispiel der Background kann ich nicht integrieren weil die PCX files nicht da sind. Das gleiche gilt zum Beispiel bei den Messages da fehlen die ANI files....

Kann mir jemand sagen was ich tun muss um die zu bekommen? Habe schon den ganzen TBP Installationsverzeichniss durchsucht ohne ergebniss!

first I want to apologize that I am posting in german but my english is not very good. (mine as well Termi ^_^)

Now lets get straight to the point:
I want to create a campaign with the TBP mod but I am missing some importend files.
For example I can't integrate any backgounds because the PCX files are missing.
Its the same with the ANI files for the messages.

Can someone tell me where to get them?
I have allready searched my entire TBP folder but didn't find them.

Surely they'd all be in VPs?

Put your ani files in the data\interface directory and they should work. Put your background files in data\effects. For your new backgrounds to appear in FRED you must edit the "stars.tbl" file. Extract the "stars.tbl" file from the core .vp file using "VPView32" and edit the file using "notepad".

In German:

Setzen Sie Ihre Aniakten in das data\interface Verzeichnis ein und sie sollten arbeiten. Setzen Sie Ihre Hintergrundakten in data\effects ein. Damit Ihre neuen Hintergründe in FRED Sie müssen die "stars.tbl" Akte redigieren aussehen. Extrahieren Sie die "stars.tbl" Akte von der Kern vp Akte mit "VPView32" und redigieren Sie die Akte mit "Notizblock".

@EFG-Terminator: Ich bin nicht sicher was du meinst. Wenn du einen einigermassen aktuellen FRED build benutzt sollte eigentlich alles gehen. Die Texturen und Backgrounds sind im DDS Format (nicht mehr im PCX), können aber von aktuellen FRED Versionen geladen werden.
Die ANIs für die Messages sind (wie alle anderen Dateinen) im "B5-Core-3_2.vp", du brauchst aber VPView, wenn du da was extrahieren willst. Aber FRED sollte eigentlich auch die ANIs selber finden.

I also thought that TBP was more or less a "finish" project...but to see so many german postings...its surprising. I mean I know from Saga that we have a handfull of german personal ^_^

As I understand it, TBP is like the SCP - it'll never be finish, persay, just continuously updated with missions and the like.
