Well, I'm at university now (the reason for my disappearance for a while), and the city I'm at (Bath) is rather attractive. It's all Georgian, and everything's built out of Bathstone (a kind of limestone IIRC), which means it looks rather nice. So I thought I'd grab some pics and post 'em up for you to see. Enjoy.

First up, this is Pulteney Bridge. One of the few (possibly the only) remainging bridges of it's type in the UK, with buildings actually on top of it.

This street (I've stupidly forgotten the name of it) is one of the widest in the UK, and the buildings have seven stories (two entirely underground). Very, very expensive place to live.

This is a view of the Empire Hotel from across the river (the bridge is just out of shot to the right, past the weir). The abbey is also visible on the left.

A pic of the abbey. This building has that "loom-factor" - it looks much bigger than it actually is. Rather impressive. I'll have to get pics of the inside as well some day...

A random church. The lamppost spoils the composition of this shot rather nicely, doesn't it?

Still, nice bit of masonry.

The rest of the pics are
here for those of you who are interested. Mostly just some alternative angles of what's above. Pretty stuff though.
Anyway, that's it - just thought I'd share these with you all.
