I seem to be getting the impression that this presidency is starting to fall apart. Delay being charged, Frist's career effectively being over, record debt levels, Meirs pulling out, large amounts of criticism about Iraq, political isolation from the rest of the world, rampant anti-americanism (it was there before Bush, but now it is a whole lot worse), and now this.
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

While the subject of doctored images is fresh on everyone's minds...

I find it interesting how when I saw this picture, I immediately thought 'decay'.  Whether or not this image was doctored, I have a strong suspicion that the pictures in it reveal a bias, even if the article doesn't. All cold colors, a low angle, very grey lighting...

Edit: Anyway, my analogy is too a hurt kid lashing out in response to pain to compensate for insecurities. The US seems to have overextended itself in an effort to appear strong. I'm still not sure why the hell we're in Iraq...the thing that seems to make the most sense is my personal theory. That is, elements of a US strike force accidentally landed in Iraq instead of Afghanistan, because the pilot couldn't tell which was which on a map, so the Bush administration came up with WMDs to cover for them. :p

Meh, two years too late. Just like Nixon.

...and in another decade we'll get another good 'ol corrupt "conservative and moral" president pulling the same stunts that the Nixon, Reagan, and current Bush administrations have pulled.

At least a blowjob to an ugly intern didn't have a real effect on national policy...

I also find it very interesting on what pictures they choose in the first place.  Just the selection in general makes me think twice.  Certainly there has to be better pictures than the ones being presented currently.  Either that or people are getting too happy with the brightness slider..

I'm starting to seriously wonder if he he'll be impeached.

I mean, he probably won't but it's obvious the media's looking for this kind of thing.

I would comment on the indictment but I'd have to stop laughing first

I like how people assume that indictment automatically means guilt. What happened to presumed innocent until PROVEN guilty?

Sheesh.

The bush administration.

We're in Iraq for the same logic :p We've not proven them guilty of any of the charges that were there.

I thought we all agreed we were done with that rule when the Michael Jackson case started.

Bah. They indicted the wrong guy. I, unfortunately, won a bet with some more wishful thinking liberals I know. I predicted a by for Cheney and Rove, and Scooter would take the fall. Gasp. Shock. Horror. Imagine my surprise when I heard the news.
[I am not really here. This post is entirely a figment of your imagination.]
