I didnt understand all the :)  and :D  and :mad2: faces on that other one... has the council of elders decided on if the startrek armada 2 mod can have a forum??

Unlikely, they're too busy doing silly things like hunting down my mostly legitimate posts to even put up a forum for the user FreeSpace 3. What I don't see is- [segment censored]

Stryke, it was all spam. Beyond pointless and if im finding it annoying, i cant imagine how Thunder feels.  Locking topics isnt the most fun thing he can spend his time doing,(although i do get a buzz out of doing it hehe j/k).

Spamming? I really don't know what you mean. The ***** topic, yes, I suppose that could qualify in the broadest sense. The 700 members posts, possibly. But it seems less that I've been spamming than that you've been imagining that I've become a spammer, and thus dismissed any of my  posts that don't just rephrase those of others as spam. I've been trying to get some renders up, since FTP is currently out of the question. I can't produce **** until at least one of the admins I contacted responds. And I'm trying to get a moderate degree of headway made on TAC and, offtime, FreeSpace Forever. I post somewhat OT stuff when I'm sick of both- so? Isn't that what this OT forum is for? Or are we all spammers? Should every topic here get locked, Thunder?

I give up. See you all later, when I've got 50 billion completed projects to just post endlessly about, and have nothing at all worth reading to post.:rolleyes:

Fine by me, it means I can switch off and go back to doing things I enjoy instead of having to sit here and wait for the next topic ranting about email or spamming or whatever springs up. Babysitting is a very boring job, and if you feel you should stop posting instead of trying to learn the border between comedy, conversation and spam then by my guest - it's a load off my back.

I am calm - just a little niggled that I have to put up with this sometimes...

Anyways - yeah, I'd still like to know what Red5 is talking about so we can salvage this thread and give him an answer :)

council of elders? well it might be a councel but um.... :rolleyes: :D

and to have your own forum you need to be hosted. To get hosted, you have to have a very original idea, or suffer the concequences of waiting a very, very, very long time.

Then again, if you mean a mod for ST:Armada 2... I don't think that will happen at HLP. It just dosnt fit into Freespace and IWar (and the other minor things they host).

Any screwing around with the forums is going to wait until we see if Gamespy will move us to a different Dynamic server, and for that we have to wait for GS to finish settling in from their server move.  So show a bit of patience......
