My first post on the new boards, and its a desperate plea for help!

I've just created this account so I can actually get in to ask for help for my other one.
I usually log in as Rand al'Thor and my account definately still exists because I've gotten the password change email, but it wont let me log in now with that name because of the '. Says its an invalid character.

Admin's? A little help?

Hmmm.. It must be the Apostrophe, the space character works fine for Black Wolf, Unknown Target etc...

We need a Horseman of the Apostrophe ;)

In all fairness, it's properly supposed to be Rand al'Thor :p.

But then again, this is the internet. Who cares about spelling and grammar other than Goober? ;)

Correction, he's one of about 6 main characters. Those books are confusing to just pick-up and read after a long fast from them.

Unfortunately, using anything not alpha-numeric in a login name is a bit like trying to use a semicolen in FRED.  It may work sometimes, but it can cause far too many errors to be worthwhile.

Ahhhhh, its good to be me again. Or at least the fictional person that I'm using instead of my own name.

Anyway, cheers Sandwich. I gotta say, I miss that little '.  It just kind of defined me. I think, just maybe, I can learn to live and be a happy forumite without it though. In time at least.

Yeah, bullseye Jetmech. You read them I guess then? I've just got the new one and its been a plesant surprise so far. 13 books in the series and the last 3 have been painfully uneventful. I've come to far to stop now though. I'll read them all if it kills me!
