We all played with the Myrmidon..it was also the first fighter in FS2...
If you ask me,I prefer to change,just for try it.
Of course in a hard missions I'll choice the old model,if it's better.

Well our fighters are more designed for specific tasks than the FS2 ones. Going up against a cruiser in a Mihos is suicide. The Herc 3 will have little trouble there, but light fighters own the Herc 3.

Unless the H3 manges to hit them... with all the gun points it has a single shot is all I've ever needed to destroy an enemy fghter. Granted, I was dual-firing Kaysers, but still....

Maybe the meneuverability is balanced...with an Herc I you have sufficient firepower and meneuverability ot take out fighters as well.
