My first full render, all fighter effects done within TS4. Post production with planets within PSP6, blending of two planet scenes in Correl WebPhotoPaint.

Hey! That's a very promising first step Ace. I like the way you've gone for more of an artistic feel than the more conventional space renders.

Not to say I don't like the more conventional stuff though

Well I was trying to keep it from just being a few ships flying over a planet as mentioned in another thread about someone... else's renders *cough*  

I'm not too happy with how the Apollo turned out, and since my convering FS2 files to .3ds isn't turning out too well, I'll wait until HLP has their big FS model archive to download on well done conversions of the models before doing any heavy renderwork.

Yes, that's very nice.  Though the fighter could use some work.  Smoothing it out a bit so it doesn't look as boxy (yeah, its an Apollo, and its supposed to be boxy, but not that boxy!).  Thrusters could use some work too.
