Sci- fi lineup this week
This is a no brainer, really, I know almost everyone is excited for the new BSG ep on friday, BUT, for everyone else, there's an all day/night marathon of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis on, like, Teusday or Wed, AND an all-day Thursday marathon of BSG, for those of you that need to catch up, AND, the suprise entry, is an all day marathon of FIREFLY on Friday :) Can't wait! :D

All Australian networks usually shun any Sci-Fi whatsoever, including BSG, Stargate and Firefly, so all i've got to say to you, and every single person who gets the Sci-Fi channel is...

F--k you.

As i can't watch BSG, Firefly or Stargate, i have to resort to the next best thing - Star Trek. And it is on today. Wheee!  How awesome can you get - the camera angles, lightning, dialogue, acting, special effects. Best series ever. And last week we had Spock's Brain - best episode ever.
Bet ya can't stick it

slash-me (this slash: / )

I seem to recall a rumor about the new BSG ep being 4 episodes' worth? 3 hours? Is this anything but a rumor?

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. 100%, A-Grade, Bush-style bulls--t. The next episode, 'Ressurection Ship Pt.1', only runs the proper 43 minutes or so, thus it'll be an hour long as per usual. Also, if it were four episodes long, it would only be 2 hours, not 3.

The Math is weak in you, Young Skywalker. Thus I find it hard to believe anything you claim. I still have hope.

Wow... that was a stupid mistake of me... and to think I just finished High School... :nervous:

Anyway, your hope is misplaced. If there is a mutiple-episode showing, i'll eat my hat... *puts on chocolate hat*

"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

Which summarizes quite nicely my views on the effectiveness of the Western school system. :p

Anyway, it could be that I was confused between BSG and Lost... does Lost have a 3-hour mid-season revival coming up, or is their episode on Wednesday next week a regular-length episode as well?

BSG is on the 6th. Lost is on the 11th, I believe.
