Specifications are about the same.

If I choose the SE, I get h.264 playback, which Nokia doesn't have.
If I choose the Nokia, I get 2 megapixels instead of 1.3, and 1600 as opposed to 1024 resolution on images, plus zoom and ****.
If I choose the SE, I get IR, don't if I choose Nokia.
If I choose the Nokia, I get the better screen and Bluetooth 2.0 (undefined on SE really - Bluetooth though it does have it)

Right - forgot.

Biggest Nokia downfall seems to be the fact that the buttons are miniscule - as in, you have to punch in numbers with your nails unless you're a very slender woman.

I just... don't know.

I think the top site has some kind of fugly remote-image-linking rule... I sure as hell don't see a phone.

Going on the details though, I'd go with Nokia (unless you particularly want h.264 playback and IR....)

So it is Ok well the problem there is that I prefer the looks of the SE but the Nokia seems more functional.

Is h.264 even useful on a dinky cell phone screen? The Nokia sounds better to me; screen quality + bluetooth 2 seems much more useful than IR.

Edit: Now that the picture's there, I have to revise my opinion. I'd go for the Sony because I like flip phones better than the stick phones. YMMV though.

OT: Y'know, it's kinda sad when cell phones can play videos that my Pentium 3 PC has trouble playing. My computer can sorta kinda almost play h.264 using VLC.

Well I guess it'd be useful if I had a memory stick innit and would be able to download anime and watch while not near a computer.

Do check the image quality on that. Mine's supposely 1280x960, but is really only very sharp in the 640x480 to 800x600 range, and for items within a 1 to 4 m range, and don't have very drastic differences, and are well-lit by sunlight or certain types of lights, and even then will often appear discolored, especially in the corners.

Essentially what I'd say is try features before you count on actually having them or using them, and read reviews on that phone with that specific provider.
