That looks.... not right.  The coloring would be fine.... if all the lighting was like that.

The shot itself is cool though, if you could fix the lighting colors that'd be sweet.

There was only a single non-colored light in the entire scene. The rest was added after the fact in photoshop, the glows on the red and engines and the sun which is at the light source's location

Very nice - but it's screaming for bump-mapping! The lighting and angle you have in the picture would show off bump-mapping to an incredible amount... please do it!
