Stupid thing...
I made a mission where a Sathanas was given orders to AI-chase a Deimos. It could have gone on in circles around that Deimos for hours...

I once edited a Herc2 to be about 30 km long.

I remembered lenght and height, but forgot to make it any wider  
It kind of looked like it had been flattened by an intergalactic steamroller.

I was playing some mission, completed it at 1% health and then one of my stupid AI wingmen rammed me and i died....

Well at least you didn't complete everything in the last mission in Destiny of Peace while managing to kill 3 Orions while flying a Herc before dying by collision with an installation.

During mission and weapons testing, I flew my Perseus right infront of the Golgothas main meson beam emitter as it was charging up to fire on a target.

This is a similar experience when flying into other beam cannons except that your death sequence remains a shade of white and blue for several seconds

Trying to shoot down the GTF Pegasus stealth fighters in the mission where you test their stealth capabilities. Waste of my time.

Another is getting killed by friendly flak. Lesson learnt: if the Shivan Mara is flying close to a friendly Deimos corvette, choose another target unless you think getting ripped to shreds by friendly flak is fun.

I set a Sexp to have the FOG's fire repeatedly 99 times, with 15 seconds between blasts, and wih the beam lasting 6 seconds...

Then somehow, I was caught in a cage of FOG bars... That hurt my little Ulysses...

i once flew an colossus at 1000 and rammed into a sathanus   also have a missile that has range of over 20000 and you still have to turn tail a burn for everything your worth if you want to escape the blast range - takes out a sathanus in 1 hit hehehe

Stupidest thing I've ever done would have to be in the Enif Station mission. I was going for a wing of 4 NTF bombers. They launched bombs just before I shot the first one down. After I destroyed them, I went after the bombs. I was very close to them, and they were only a few seconds away from hitting the station, so I shot them all down at point blank range. Then I remembered my shields were out.  

There was also a time when I fired an Inferno, missed, and it hit a nearby Rakshasa, taking out my shields. I couldn't see properly in the explosion, so I rammed straight into it....

In FS1, on the mission where you have to recover the Altair system data, I fired a Harbinger Bomb at the Typhon's weapons subsystem, then pulled up to flee.  The bomb destroyed all my subsystems but left my hull at around 20%

Hull was under 5%, doing a desperate bomb intercept mission. I turned to follow close behind a cluster of 2 or 3 bombs as they headed towards the GTD something. Just before they impacted, I got them, with only about a second left. But then, just as I was turning to avoid the ship and exulting in triumph, the shockwave hit me...and you all know what happens to your controls then.

Rammage.  

Actually, I've done that quite a few times...
