Let's be honest though, I think most of us community veterans would buy the game even if it turned out to be a piece of crap as long as there was some FS connection. We are all basically FS fanboys, evidenced by the fact that we're still in the community.

By the way, that article also lists Deus Ex 3 and Thief 4. What are the chances of that happening?

To find out the story, perhaps.  Except the story is worthless unless it's by the original authors, otherwise it's the same state of canonicity as any mod.
