mmh... after all, this shows interesting reactions... Ingame, nobody will fear a lone manticore, right? even in the highest difficulty level it's a joke. But everybody assumes that a manticore should be a lethal foe, on that render. That's a feeling I'd like to have in a space sim: any enemy fighter seen as a real threat to the player, not just one more annoying little thing to add to the killing board, much like in a real flight sim (see the difference between quake where you can kill dozens of monsters w/o any fear, and rainbow 6 where any enemy can mean the failure of the mission).
