Not really. To my knowlage we've only had two working sessions, the rest has just been "can we get this to work", and half the time we haven't been able to figure it out. karx however has recently appeared, and I have high hopes that, with his help, we can get this thing going. Optimally they'd be going nearly every weekend.

Sorry, I was asleep at that time. However, I don't there is any point in trying it out until we get these crashes resolved. Hopefully that d2x.log file will provide some clues, but I can't seem to get the game to generate it.

I find this weird. I can establish UDP games in a LAN (WinXP and Linux box), I can play coop with my brother (who lives a few 100 km away), and when I was debugging recently, I constantly had connecting some guy to my games over the inet using the tracker functionality. No crashes here.

Please try to create a new player profile and use that one. I had recently made a change messing player profiles up (couldn't avoid that, the player file format doesn't like expansions), and maybe some settings now falsely read from old profiles make the program crash.

I will setup a game server via tracker now with a game named 'Diedel's game'.

Didn't see the tracker it at 4:05 PM GMT... it did say "1 Tracker found" at the top, but when I clicked on it, it gave me a version error.

I am using a new pilot.

It detected the tracker for me, but there were no games on it. (with the latest version and a new pilot)

It's been a while though, so his server may just not be up anymore.

Yes, I shut down my game after two hours or so. I will open one now (it's 21:30 GMT+1 DST here). The mission is level one of the Dogfight multiplayer level set that comes with Descent 2. The game is running, so you will directly enter the mine when successfully joining. My ship may just be idling though, I am not attending the game all the time.

No, singleplayer works fine. How exactly do I get that log file? That might indicate what the problem is, but as I said earlier adding -printlog to my d2x.ini doesn't seem to do anything.

To be honest I haven't been able to get the F1 thing to work either.
