nice, i got a spare lcd screen and wanted to do something similar with it, but i cant find any documentiation on the damn thing. its a 1400 x 1050 tft out of my old laptop and lacks a controller board and psu. the panel only has two connectors,  i take it ones for video and the other is for the backlight. i researched it for a week and couldnt find the proper hardware for it. so it still resides in my closet. such a shame i could use another monitor.
I can no longer sit back and allow communist infiltration, communist indoctrination, communist subversion, and the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

Same here. I've got hold of an old Latop TFT. But my research has revealed that without a controller it's worthless. Ans while I found a generic TCT controller for sale on some electronics retailer website, the thing is too epensive to bother.
