Ah... but you have to look out for the hidden game where you glue razor blades to the edge of your paddle and really go for it ;)

Table tennis isn't exactly an exotic sport that only few people can afford.

Somehow this smells like an early April 1st joke.

I guess it is the final indication of a game business running out of original ideas when the latest console features a full-3D shader-based version of the first ever Binatone console game.

I suspect they're taking the piss as well, given the likes of "true possibilities of a next gen experience" and " resulting in a purer, more visceral experience".  (visceral, eh?).

There will probably be some sort of hidden game mode were you can beat the opposing player to death with the paddle. :p

Something tells me that this is either a mini-game, or more likely, a PR stunt.  Nothing shows the general public how bad realistic games would be if it wasn't for substance like a game that has no point to it.  Also, too much Specular...

Actually, ping pong is pretty damn fast and fun, unlike pong. If they can get this to work with MS's eyetoy clone/new motion detection tech it could be pretty awesome...

But still, WTH.

In other news... Rainbow Six: Vegas just was announced for PC , current-gen, and next-gen consoles, and my gosh, it looks hot (in-game as confirmed by dev on B3D). Still some polishing to be done till its release at the end of the year(door handle), but wow.







Diminishing returns am dead.
