Cool thanks . Is there anywhere I can get the SCP pack that is a regular download and not a torrent though? Just wondering, for the sake of convenience is all.

Yes, but then it's not all in one place    I think the reason it's a torrent is because it's so big.  But hey, leave it on for a few days and nights.

If you want to go ahead and get the files from multiple places, Karajorma's FAQ of Installing FS2_Open will tell you just about all you need to know.  And then follow the instructions on the very first page of the MediaVP 3.6.8 Delta thread, and then get a CVS build.  But really, until you get used to exploring and modifying your Freespace 2 folder, not to mention tracking down all these files, I'd stick with the torrent.
