You bet I've had my share of weird dreams.
One night not long ago I was back in the army. It was kinda weird, though. One could count it as a nightmare also... for some bizarre reason, all other conscript leaders had been granted a holiday and as the highest ranking of the conscripts (being an officer cadet [upseerikokelas]) at the time, I was to keep order on the 2nd Jaeger Company.

Actually, there was one corporal (alikersantti) who was appointed to be on call, but he happened to be completely inane and lazy in real life, too, and he was that on the dream too, so he was really of no use.
What made it worse was that it was situated at the time when the new conscripts had arrived just about 3 weeks ago or so, so they all came asking me impossibly stupid questions and generally acted like n00bs so I literally had to take care of everything myself that I really wanted done. (If you want a clear picture of fresh conscripts, try to imagine your wingmen in FS2, but with a version that half of them does everything badly and the other half comes to ask you every single thing they are unsure of)
That continued for some time and things were slowly descending towards hell... Suddenly the theme changed - now I was the conscript... I remember thinking like what the hell, I can't be a conscript after being already closer to 7 months in the army.

Well, I was the conscript and I happened to receive a "midnight special" aka duty from 2 am to 4 am - the most annoying turn. So, on my turn I was supposed to go at least once round the building... check everything was allright and all that. Well, there was not all right, there was one another conscript* in a toilet... What happened next was kinda ripped from Full Metal Jacket, and I kinda knew that, so at some level I realized it was adream by this stage. Not that it helped in any way, it was still quite gory. Then I woke up, very happy to be off that place and happily on the reserves.
*In reality, this another conscript actually did end his own army time by jumping off the barracks roof, I don't know how badly he was injured or what happened to him afterwards but he ain't going back in the army, that's for sure. I remember talking about it with my army mates and as one of them said: "Imagine if he had flipped over the edge on the shooting course, with an assault rifle and a magazine with 10 rounds attached..."
