Nice, but the ring that's surrounding the warp is a little too visible, maybe shade that out with some effects, or put more stars over top of it.
But, it's still really good and a whole on better than I could do!

funny thing about that ring: i don't know where it came from. i didn't put it there. i checked the wireframe and nothing was there, yet it shows up when i render the scene. weird...

some sort of graphical glitch between the cruiser and the warp maybe? it seems to run between the two...

turn you're monitor brightness to 100% and look at the area underneath the head of the fenris.
