Those are Ships from Eve-Online.  For the most part, those are all in-game shots.

Re: Amazing Spaceship Art Site
oh eve, you look so pretty but play so slow....

seriously, i just couldn't stand how slow the gameplay.  I could WALK AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER and watch tv for a half hour  and come back and just be arriving at my destination.  there is such a thing as a game being too big.

I didnt even know EvE existed. I just read up on it this morning lol. It looks pretty cool but I checked some game footage videos that ppl made and it seems battle is really slow too.

Re: Amazing Spaceship Art Site
Well its kinda like Real Time turn based.
So yeah it is slow, but otherwise when your in massive wars with huge alliances, you wouldn't be able to keep track of everything.

That said, its not for everyone.

Re: Amazing Spaceship Art Site
Depends what you're doing really. If you're going an entire journey in secure sectors then, yes, you can go get a coffee and come back later, if you are travelling through non-protected sectors you might well come back to a pod or in a clone-bay somewhere.

The game does run real ime, theres a lot of quiet stages, mining ops etc, followed by short bursts of excitement, it's more a battle of wits than sheer firepower, using your brain can win battles just as quickly as using the biggest guns you can find :)

Re: Amazing Spaceship Art Site
Yeah, it's won a few prizes for its graphics, theres some pretty amazing stuff in the game visually speaking. The Music is very nice too, though some of the tunes can grate on your nerves if you're out mining a few hours.

This is my little beauty at the moment....

Ahhh.. The Retribution, nice little ship :D

It's less powerful, but better looking sister ship, the Vengeance.

I feel like those are old designs that didn't go final.  I.e. there being two Leviathans.

I always make sure I'm doing something while I'm playing EVE, having two monitors really has it's benefits when things like this are concerned.
