How do you enable engine flares?

I'm beefing up my build again, and how do you enable engine flares?
Every pilot's goal is to rise up in the ranks and go beyond their purpose to a place of command on a very big ship. Like the colossus; to baseball bat everyone.

Use species_defs.tbl. Like for example this file
Do not meddle in the affairs of coders for they are soggy and hard to light

Also does anyone have a nameplates.dds that's transparent and 2x2
I don't have the software to do it, and i don't have the time
When i have that then i can get rid of those green transparencies :mad:

Just do not use smaller than 16x16 compressed dds files at all... they wont function properly ingame

I don't belive I compressed it, but the 1X1 nameplate file doesn't work even when uncompressed.
