well, it seems I'm going to an Anime convention

my sister has talked my mom into letting her go to an anime convention in Chicago, but mom REALY doesn't want to go, I'm sort of morbidly curious, so I'm takeing her this year, well, that'd be were I am for the next three days.

It can't be that bad. When I think of an anime convention, I always seem to conjure up mental images of many women dressed up as their favorite, scantily-clad anime character... *drifts off deep in thought*

ooooooh man... I haven't laughed that hard in such a loooong time. That guys has got guts to go dressed around in that ****. That, or he has no friends. I go to ComicCon every year, since it's less then an hour from here...

Frankly I just try to tune out the cosplay people. The vast majority are hopeless. The only reason I'd be caught dead there frankly is because if you want to get ahold of a good artist to draw you something, that's how you do it.

Back in my anime days (a few years ago)I recall pictures of a couple of less-than-georgous-ladys (being polite) dressed as the dirty pair.......
