And i thought F.E.A.R. looked good, this real looks awsome.

I am glad i did buy a new pc, especialy the Radeon X1900XT 512.....fear was awsome though and prety scarry:D

You reckon? Far Cry was always pretty good at running full detail on an average system... that said this has come a long way since Far Cry...

I ran both FEAR and Far Cray at medium settings on my old rig - Athlon 1900+, 1GB DDR and GForce 4 ti 4200i.

We'll see jsut how optimized this thing will turn out to be.

How did you manage to run FEAR with a GF4? I tried and it said I needed a DX9 card.

how hte hell should I know? It just ran - 800x600 resolution, medium details and it ran perfectly..never slowed down.

I played FarCry with medium settings with 1 GHz Sempron and a Radeon 9250. And pretty much full settings when I overclocked to 1,3 GHz. FEAR worked fine on medium once I overcloked to 1,6 GHz. :D Though some effects might be missing coz teh Radoen doesn't know how to draw them...
I've been wondering should I try to squeeze full 2 GHz out of the processor, but reason has overcome that desire. Thus far. :nervous:
