Re: X-Men: The Last Stand
Far as I know, the Sentinels only appear in the Danger Room sequence.

But I could be wrong.

Live in hope and whatnot.

Incidentally: X3, POTC2 and Superman Returns look good enough that I might once again venture into the Land of the Blue Ceiling and watch them at the cinema.

I wonder why the hell does all the good movies have premier in late spring or in summer? In winter when a guy needs a good movie to watch there are none.

Its about time they had bloomin sentinels in it. (i'm certain you see a sentinel head at one point)

??

those big ****in' huge robots. I think it was Magneto who created them.

No, no, no, no, no!

Think about it, why the hell would a man who strives for Mutant superiority engineer machines that hunt mutants?!

I just saw it, and uhhhhh, the writers really went on a killing spree. Also, to anyone who's going to see it, very important: Stay for the end of the credits.

Oh, don't worry. Although it seemed like half of the cast died, if you've ever read any comic books then you know that they always bring them back to life somehow.

Re: X-Men: The Last Stand
Though I haven't seen it, it seems to me that they've been using the "mutants vs humans" angle too much. There are other storylines in the X-Men. This is three movies where basically it's normals vs mutants and it's getting old. How about a Dark Phoenix movie. Or Age of Apocalypse. Or Onslaught. Or Operation Zero Tolerance. Or one about Wolverine and Weapon X. Any of those would be a refreshing change from the groove they seem to have fallen into.

Also, from what I've seen in the trailer, the Juggernaut looks retarded. He's supposed to be a mountain, not some short guy in a stupid helmet. And where the hell in Gambit? Three movies the Ragin' Cajun has yet to appear? Inexcusable.

Move was bull****.

Rushed. Stupidly planned.

"I'm the Juggernaught *****" really sums up the quality of the movie and story quite well.

What, you mean after the Oh so wonderful ending of the last one, that it's not a good flick?

Re: X-Men: The Last Stand
Warning, spoiler.

Seems like Wolverine could've snagged a few more of those "mutant cure" darts (or saved one or two of those used on Magneto) and stabbed those into Jean/Phoenix instead of his claw. But then that wouldn't be enough characters killed off I suppose.

Also, the angel winged mutant seemed a little under-developed, especially for how cool having angel wings could be (although yes, there are cooler).

All in all, I thought it could've been worse/better. Meh.

Re: X-Men: The Last Stand
As for the post-credits scene (warning, another spoiler): As if Magneto moving his chess piece at the end of the movie wasn't enough to say "sequel on the way!", they show the brain dead guy in the hospital that Professor Xavier refers to in ethics class towards the beginning of the movie; the nurse/doctor/lady Charles knows (she was in the video he showed to the class) says good morning to the brain dead patient, and the brain dead patient responds with "hello whateveryournameis" (in Patrick Stewart's voice), and she looks at him in astonishment and says, "Charles?" The screen goes black.

While the Phoenix took no notice of the dart, and/or did nothing about it?
