Starlancer is good, but too damn easy, Freelancer... well, until you finish the plot is good, afer that, is extremly boring.
X2 and X3... well, both of then are good, but tooooo slow, and there are other things to ajust to better the playability, like TS/TP dock on TL and M1, All TS super Freighter class should be of the size of an M6 and have similar shields, M4 weapons capability, use an M6 dock type and re-classed as TM; All TL/M1 should be able to dock 1 to 4 M6/TM on external docks, TLs should have better shields, like 1 to 2 GJ. Add real bombers, which 100 to 175MW shields, 1/2 turrets, 500/700 cargo space, M3 size, M6 speed and manureability. Greatly increase Hull hits to all ships and greadly reduce the chance to any equipment be destroyed. (actualy, in X2, X3, when shields gone, you are dead, even in M1 and M2s, or if you not dead, you will lose a lot of equipment). And fix some OOS combat, for exsample, a fully loaded Phoenix M2 which 32x GPPC, 8x BPPC, 10GJ shield, is killed in OOS in a second by a Single Xenon J! try it

This game also need aferburners like of FS ones. and really better explocions... even FS1 2D retail explocions are better than X3 ones..
