The story is totally retarded, I'm sorry but it's just completely, ridiclously crap. Russel T(wat) Davies put it pretty well in the confidential; "It's like something an 8 year old would come up with."

Yes Russel, yes it is.

That's always been the beauty of the show, though. From when I was an 8-year-old watching the Saltshakers of Doom. :p

Still, Daleks vs Cybermen, eh?

Re: Doctor Who - Army Of Ghosts...
The Eastenders bit was sheer class. The new Cybermen look like something out of C-3PO's midnight fantasies and Daleks will always = awesome.

Doesn't sound too bad. The character didn't seem as crappy as Rose.
See this is the problem I have with the current companion, I dislike Rose quite a lot. I think billie Piper is a pretty good actor and pulls of the part well (surprisingly) but the character of Rose sucks to the max, an annoying and selfish stupid person. Hate hate hate.

I cheered when I found out Rose was being written out of it and I hope for a very messy and painful death.

Oh also, if the TARDIS "saves the day" in the episode on Saturday, that's it. I'm not watching Doctor Who anymore.

Re: Doctor Who - Army Of Ghosts...
i have to say i didn't think rose was that bad, better than any other with the exceptions of Sarah jane smith, Ace and Cpt Jack. I like her because they built up a proper character with a family and whatnot but i do agree that alot of the times she is abit *****y.
I am confused about her leaving wether she will die, because if you read the an interview on the BBC website both her and Russell T davis said that the door would be open for her to come back.

Re: Doctor Who - Army Of Ghosts...
Technically, SG1 lasted 5 whole seasons before they swapped out Jackson for Quinn.

Then another 2 with the original cast once he came back.

But the opening piece of dialogue was a monologue of Rose saying something along the lines of "Blah blah Earth, this is where i was born and it's also where I died blah blah no one cares."
Although if she's dead how can she tell us? RUSSEEEEEEEEEEEEELL!!!!!

Re: Doctor Who - Army Of Ghosts...
The Daleks were all dead too.

ZOMG, DALEKS!

Where the TARDIS is involved, it's really never cut and dried.

Dead in that dimension. But since we're now apparently travelling in time, space and different dimensions I suppose anything is possible.

Dead in that dimension. But since we're now apparently travelling in time, space and different dimensions I suppose anything is possible.

I took the Daleks to be akin to the Time Lords, in that they'd consolidated themselves across multiple dimensions.

And the Void Ship wasn't so much the Daleks attempt to break through into another dimension, but a plan to make sure that even if they lost the Time War they'd still have ships in the Void ready to pop out at random times in random dimensions with all the technology and resources they'd need to start rebuilding the Dalek Empire.

Re: Doctor Who - Army Of Ghosts...
You can't kill of the Daleks because it isn't Dr who without them, its like one of the producers(or someone on the Drwho team) said on the confidential prog, without the daleks it would be like morky without mindy, blackadder without baldrick, some matter how many times they lose there fleets and planets they will come back, Plus as the doc said a void ship rests in the space between dimesions and could survive the end on universe and the begining of a new one. I think these daleks are form our universe because in one trailer the Black dalek seems to take i bit of a hissy fit when rose say's she killed the Emp.
