BSG Season 3 Preview.
For a good minute or so of Galactica season 3 action preview, view it on YouTube right here...

Or download a somewhat more high-quality version of it via Rapidshare right over here.

Looks to be considerably spectacular.

Yeah, it has some ****ty grunge music as background. But it still looks very promising.

Argh, stupid Nickleback crap. Is it just me, or does everything look really dark? And I don't mean thematically "dark", but just poorly lit?

Re: BSG Season 3 Preview.
I think that's because of poor video quality, even the one in rapidshare is rather poor quality.

Considering that's probably the only Nickleback I like...

Yeah, it is kinda dark.

Re: BSG Season 3 Preview.
Not available in this part of Europe at the very least. :( According to one reseller's webpages, it should be available here sometime next month.

I really need to stop being lazy and rent Season 1.  I've always sort of wanted to see this show but never got around to actually doing it.

Re: BSG Season 3 Preview.
Ahh, quit worrying. They did the same kind of season preview for Season 2, and there was no quantum change in musical score.

Well, except for in "Pegasus", but they recanted from that very quickly.

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

Pegasus' music rocked man...best change in thematic music ever.  I think they keep experimenting with it. Bear McCreary said that BSG's music was supposed to be "worldly" in that it incorporated as many cultures as possible.  I hope he keeps doing it.  The Taiko drum holds it together but he gets to experiment and I like it.

Yeah I wouldn't worry too much about the Nickleback used during the preview.  The preview music they do on these almost never ever matches what they do in the actual show.  It has more to do with endorsements and whatnot.

Re: BSG Season 3 Preview.
I still remember when they changed the Sky One ads from using the perfectly suited and timed Kamikaze (PJ Harvey) to some god awful metal pish which completely ruined the timing and pacing.....
