Seems they finally decided not to tolerate people that constantly cheat around their blocking efforts. They deleted the diretory and set my available space to 0. Seems I have to find another host.

Hmm... I'll bring the idea of hosting up in the Staff forum, see if I can get something sorted... if it doesn't work out, maybe WS would be willing to host files? I don't know though - they might just want to host complete sites.

But a place to host some files would be nice too.

Is your X-Wing Alliance site a mod site? (I'm a big fan of XWA myself) if it's a mod site I think we may be able to help  

Failing that... theres X-Wing Legacy, they host loads of X-Wing sites...

Yes, it's a mod site. I have done a number of custom ships for XWA, including the Y-Wing Mk.2, the TIE Intruder, and the Titan class Battleship.
Unfortunately I couldn't access X-Wing Legacy for some reason during the last two days.

Another big problem is that my HTML skills are almost non-existent, I just know how to use Netscape Composer and where I have written down how to do frames   So the site design was not really great.

Well, I'm sure one of the staff can make a new(ish) look for your site, at least get it looking "ok" for you if you like? and I think we can host you as well...um...If I don't post here again I'm sure one of the rest of the HLP staff will so i'll let them add to this...

I like the pic, how did you get the glow effects on the windows?

I thought about making a FS2 campaign taking place in my universe, with the ships I made, but I can't do it at the moment cause I'm part of a big campaign for XWA, sort of a Total Conversion, and I'm the only modeller there.

I used a little program for Photoshop called Acxion - it works quite well

Very nice Thunder...I only have three issues!   Sorry, it's just the critic in me...

1. Planet looks wrong, very 2D, and probably too bright.

2. No blue glow from fighter engines on the Autarch(minor issue.  )

3. Black around edges of fighter engine glow looks bad.

I'm saving it anyways, despite these annoyances.

The Autarch zip file is something like 4.7 Mbyte large. I think that's a little bit to much for emailing it. It was for Thunder's account, causing this entire crap with Geocities.

My other models aren't ready yet. They are in TS1 format, with only some windows and nameplate textures applied on a simple planar UV space. I'm working on texturing the Canada, but don't have too much time to do it right now.
