Textures sucks, Sky's ok, but not great. Nevermind that the wings doesn't have textures (it's an old version). The newest ver. will get new textures, i think.

I don't have a picture of it but its in my MOD, its my personal one beacuse I should be playing the part fo the captain of the ship Mr. Maverick. Its a Kittoso Class crusier called the HeartBeat. (beat that!)

Well, I got it in my head though. The design, weapon specifications and all. But I have yet to get down to really doing it in 3D.  

I would have to say that it has some design aspects that may resemble the Warlock Destroyer from Babylon 5.

Rapid heads up - the Aquilas design has been upgraded dramatically and looks far better (IMO) than the pic I just posted. I should be getting a scan up ASAP.

Ok...short rundown.
The four front booms hold advanced sensor packages and a particle shield system to protect the central hangar bay.

The two extrusions along the bottom hold two 12 TeV (Terra-electron-volt) particle accelerators.  

The 6 front facing turrets are plasma weapons drawing directly from the six mid-ship fusion piles.

The two large "wings" house the secondary power supply, an experimental quantum tap system.  The outlets radiate excess (YES- EXCESS!!!) power out into space.

The zero point taps exlusively power the..uhh...special thing that might make an appearance when I finish modelling it.

What are those two things at the sides of the ship? Do they rotate like the Omega-class destroyer from Babylon 5?

EDIT: Wait a minute.....they don't look like they can rotate......

And yes I know the engine glows look weird on the bottom pic, but I got tired of fighting with MAX so I just rendered the damn thing.  That also explains the lack of ray-traced shadows.  I didn't feel like waiting any longer.
