... because im going to be designing, scripting and operating the website for Rapids Labs.

Last night my friends Chris and Farley - along with my self were up till 3:30 AM laying out a company. (between cracking obsenely hilarious jokes).  

What we do is produce computers - Our Model Lines will be

at each level there are two systems - an AMD and Intel Processor of that level - Athlon XP and P4 at top, Athlon and PIII in middle, and Duron and Celeron at the bottoms

Top Level: Leopard and Jaguar
Medium Level: Panther and Tiger
Bottom Level: Cheetah and Cougar
Custom System: Siberian

Some people (my dad for instance) simply don't need a raw powerhouse of a P4 or an Athlon, right now he's using a P2 350 (my old machine). However some people don't want a second hand computer - they might want a brand new one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and doesn't go as fast either.

Good luck with the venture.  I tried something like that a few years back, with websites rather than computers.

Try advertising with local newspapers and businesses, assuming your attempting to capture local audience only.

You missed wEvil's point - you see, on the current market (and for that matter, the market as far back as the Duron has ever existed), the Duron has been both significantly faster and cheaper than the Celeron. It just doesn't make sense for people to buy them, except for people who don't research and go with the Intel name because they 'know' it. So we people in the know (ie. Kaz who'll be selling the boxes) can help to nudge the people in the right direction... by not giving them a choice
