I can sort of do these things.  I have some experience modeling, some of my work can be found here.  It should be noted that I model in SketchUp (as if you couldn't see from the pictures), and SketchUp to POF conversion has some known caveats, namely no smoothing, which can be a major issue in some cases.  I can convert stuff as long as its provided in a format that TrueSpace or PCS2 can handle, with textures already applied correctly and no geometry errors present.  I have played around with tables some, I know what "balancing" means, but my ability to balance ships and weapons hasn't really been put to the test.

If you're not too desperate, I know there are people out there much better at these things than me; I'm still a n00b, and still learning.
