I use the Cairo in my missions (the original one with the flower light things). It looks very good to me and goes well with the other Vasudan stuff.
It was because at one point he claimed to have filled out an online application for something as Carl T Shivan, and has since recieved mail for that name at his home. IIRC.
The original reference was in TAS. Actually, to this day I still don't know whether he got his name from that thread or his real name is actually Carl.

The reason no one mentioned it is probably because it isn't a big, full-size installation like the Arcadia. More like a lonely little science station.
Don't get me wrong, I like the Cheops as well.
There was one Vasudan installation (forgot the name), that was just an Arcadia with Typhon textures.
If you don't like the Karnak or the Cairo, that might be your best bet though!
I also think the Cheops somehow looks small but it's actually almost as big as the Arcadia.
As for the other one, it was the GVI Abydos. Nobody knew how to make models in those days except for Dark (this was before PCS, Modelview, FSMM and all that stuff), who was rarely around, so retextured stuff was the norm.
