If your background is a jpeg, convert it to a bitmap, then you can turn off active desktop which eats up quite a bit of your system's resources...

i know what i am doing, and kazan if u compare the load time of icons and ****  on win98,me,2000 or NT against the load time of xp, xp is faster

It looks like you Win98 (or is it WinME?) has an identity crisis there IceFire

All of the XP icons are available online for the taking.  , I replaced most of the Windows 98 (ME is CRAP CRAP CPAP!) icons with XP ones.  Tide me over till I get XP on my system.  Which I hope is soon.

Thats because its the actual image, except its HTML coding is "a href=x.jpg" "img src=x.jpg width=y height=z"

So really, you should manually make a 300x226 thumbnail or something, because this lvlshot isn't helping out 56kers at all

No he wasn't - he overestimated peoples intelligence when you take into account that every other UBB command uses [ ] brackets and therefore this one would as well - although you cna't type it out with them as it won't appear
