I'm not very sure if this is going to be accepted, but here it goes anyway... :nervous:

Introduction
If you're sitting on a super ship, it can be Shivan, Terran or Vasudan, post it here. You can make it HTL if you wish, but as long as it has no more than 10,000 polygons. You do not need to be the creator as long as you post who the author is. It also must be public (so I don't get people shouting Gargant! Gargant!). It should be based on the FreeSpace 2 universe, so please no Wing Commander Saga or Babylon Project ships. Please make them from the FreeSpace universe.

Aim
Your aim is NOT to create a 100km ship with one hundred UReds, it is to create a ship that is truly cool, pretty and interesting. However, it has to be in some way 'unique,' to make it an ubership. There are three types of uberships: One really big monstrosity with a hundred UReds pointed in every direction, for example, the Gargant. The other type of ubership is something which has a unique weapon of some kind, or has a shield system or something, for example the Golgotha. The last type of ubership is a combination of both, for example the Icanus (which is huge and has BFSilvs pointed everywhere and also has its own uberweapon).

You can also recommend ships that are either already posted, or provide a link and the needed information. You must say it's not yours, obviously. So you can say 'Icanus', since it's public. But there is a smaller chance of a ship from Inferno or a large campaign winning the competition.

Usage
If you do not want me to get my grubby hands on it and use it in a campaign, say so. Although the odds are small since I don't really need an ubership for any mods I'm working on. But I may use it if it's cool and I start another mod never to be finished.

Rewards
The pride of having won and all that crap. :nervous:

Duration
Closes January 31st.

Well there goes my 80km+ ancient destroyer, never was completed and never armed.   :lol:

When she was found her primaries were nonfunctional due to the eons of sitting in a nebula, although secondaries could handle the Gargant with no problem.  Heavily shielded (even with primary and secondary shielding offline) to the point where beams had a hard time breaking through.  It was also equiped with autorepair, hence the ability to last that long and was capable of building orion sized ships.

Terran research indicates she was a exploratory ship, origins unknown, probably some really old race (of which the "ancients" homesystem was still a nebula)  Vast majorities of it's databanks have faded with time, the ship was kept "alive" by autorepair systems and a powersystem that could last for nearly infinity.

Although thinking now, I don't think i could have enough subsystems for the weapon system unless i radically rethink them.

I'd add a rule that it has to be an original ship as well, to be honest, else all I'd have to do is add BFReds to all the turrets on a Hecate for instant uber-powered ship of death.

i got a fighter in the works but its stuck in the cogs at the moment the same with a upgraded orion destroyer.

at the moment im experimenting on Caligari trying to get the grips after creating a prism or a triangle how to move the thing and attach it, the tutorial is a pile of bollocks.
