For my case, I think the clue is with the blue streak at the bottom left and the Ulysses thruster cone...

Yeah, the background, the Ulysses thruster glow, and the way it is shaded. If you compare a FreeSpace shot with a FreeSpace 2 shot there is just some difference I just can't describe...

Also, Centrixo, can you please post a screenshot of your ship (wasn't it a modified Hades? Or am I going nuts?)?

1) It's not finished yet (3 turrets missing)
2) It will be released along with the campaign :P
