Impressive, especially that frigate. The detail is awesome. That's the kinda skill I wish I had. *heh*

I'm wondering if there isn't a rendering error in the shadowing across the frigate, though.

Oh, btw: its already my desktop.

tweak the surface shader though...they look a little on the plasticy side IMO

Yes I noticed that... I might redo the render sometime and see if I can fix that... have no idea why that appeared.

should be able to tweak the specular highlights to be stronger..

or just use the "strauss" shading model if LW supports it...im sure it does.

Up the highlight and shininess. Don't overdo the highlight, makes it look like aluminum foil in a supernova.

Also, any ideas on where to get an old version of Lightwave? I don't need most of the goodies that come with 7, and I REALLY can't afford $2500.
