French and German put me off foreign languages for many years. Many years later I discovered that foreign languages are cool and fun. Now I can speak a bit of Spanish, a bit of Italian, and I'm learning Japanese. French though, still sucks.

french is nearly like english, or rather vice versa seeing as how the normans imported the language to england
