Just wondering what people think. You should also take into account the work put into it, stability of the mod, length, wether it has voice acting or not (and wether or not the acting is good), new ships / guns, etc.

I havent played enough campaigns, so im not in a position to make a judgement, but i'd say Derelict would be high up there.

Oh, and for those that put ur campaigns up, please give a link if possible, so others can check out the best  !

*EDIT** Released campaigns only, to help thin down the numbers.

The campaign I'm creating in my completely unfinished mod, then MT.

Lol, we should reduce judgement to released campaigns only :D

I don't know many of the newer campaigns, but I really liked.
-Derelict
-Warzone
-Aeos affair
-Boomerang (although it was pretty short)
-Trinity (short one, too)

I am curious to see how 'The apocalypse project' and 'Black water operations' turn out, I'm really waiting for those :D

Aeos Affair is at Hades Combine, it was made by picklehead and was the first user made campaign I ever played. (I got it at volition watch) Its simply brilliant, just the layout of the missions have great artistic merit. There are plenty of capships but it never seems unbalanced or BOEish.

I played Warzone a long time ago but I dont remember it being particularly good.  :blah:

-Derelict
-Aeos Affair
-Titan Rebellion
-Transcend
-Sync
-Dissident Theory
-ITHOV
-Regulus Campaign (even though it was insanely difficult at times)
-Homesick
-Shrouding the Light

In no particular order.
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

I don't have a favorite right now, but I can tell that when this comes out, it will be my favorite. Interceptors FTW!

why would an SCP error be considered as news? :wtf: *smacks Cobra*It's a feature.

Will the campaigns that aren't listed as being SCP compatible run under SCP?

It depends on the campaign, but the answer is "most likely."

There are a few exceptions, though.

I'd have to say me personally:InfernoR1, ship variation
Sol: a history Just because it's set as a history
Noise's Into the Depths of Hell
Trans, just cause of the creepiness to it
                              Derelict
Shrouding the Light....and a few others
Artistly, i find them fine, but my comp unlit I upgrade has only medium sized balls. It's more about story and to put a fine pointed head on it improvment of ships{playable ships }that is to say I don't want to play around with with A dam Apollo or Herc for an intire 12+missions in a campaign. That gets boring so what's the point of a modified game

S:AH, IMO, was good in one way but crap in another. It was excellent in the campaign, it had original missions, a good atmosphere, but it had crappy mods. IMO, it was simply a mish-mash of FS1, INFR1 and reskinned ships.

The last chapter and the first were great. The second to last missions of both were great! :D

But, I still say its a mishy mashy of mods.

In no particular order:

Derelict
Homesick (Love the feeling of having limited resources at one's disposal; being set in '55, tho, it should have had a bit more FS1 tech visible methinks, but excellent nonetheless)
Shrouding the Light (Excellent plot)
Warzone (Though I think a lot more could have been done to make Russik a truly hateworthy villain, the gameplay was good)
ITDOH (pokes Noise -- i must have more!)
Aeos Affair (Short but good)
Pandora's Box (A good campaign for fighting the NTF. Very good in that it fits perfectly with the established storyline.)
ITHOV (Good premise and a villain worth remembering.)
Awakenings (The first of the good campaigns, tho it's dimmed a bit since)
And of course the Main FS1 and FS2 Campaigns. Wouldn't have stayed around had they not been good! :D

Aeos Affair (my first FS2 User Campaign i've ever played)
Sync and Transcend (so.... mysterious)
Homesick (a good campaign, too)
Deus Ex Machina/Just another Day (2) (funny! unforgetable... the Disco Mission ;))
The Titan Rebellion (another great campaign, but it was never finished)
Into the Dephts of Hell (interesting Story, much Background materials, i looking forward for the next chapter)
Desperation (A Story like ItDoH, looks interesting. But it's incomplete, too :()
Derelict (A Classic Campaign, awesome!)
Pandoras Box (I like it's Mission tree, you can replay it more times. Good Idea and the Story is interesting, too)
Shivan here, Shivan there, Shivan everywhere.

My english isn't very well, so sorry for a few mistakes.

To be honest, the first FS2 campaign I played was Deus Ex Machina. :)

Next on the list was INFR1.

my top 10, in no specific order would have to be

Derelict-great plot, missions were fun, and the voiceover made it even better
WingCommander Prologue- simply, wow, nothing more can be said
Sync- innovative, fun, and all around excellent
Transcend- scared the crap out of me, but it was fun none the less
Shrouding the Light- nice plot, fun to play, generally runs good
Into The Depths of Hell 1-4- one of the best, will be better when it's finished
Inferno (not sure which one)- excellent mods, great story, to short though
Pandoras Box- pretty fun, definitely worth playing
Just Another Day- funny as hell
Deuse Ex Machina- also funny as hell

I think Raider Wars for the Babylon Project deserves mention.  Though it is not strictly speaking a Freespace campaign, it uses the SCP, was well voice acted, and the mission scripting is excellent.  My only complaint is that at times it is really friggin' hard!
