A young Argentinian footie fan who decided to celebrate his love for Boca Juniors by having the team's logo tattooed on his back paid the price for not adequately researching the body artist's own allegiances.

The tattooist was, unknown to the unnamed teen, a follower of rival club River Plate, and accordingly substituted a penis for the Boca Juniors' crest.

The victim - who is now suing the tatooist - lamented: "I could not see what he was tattooing because he didn't have a mirror. I only saw it when I got home and showed it to my parents."

Meh, tattoos are nasty things on the body. Toxic chemicals can get into your bloodstream. Tattoos are permanent enough to be embarrassing later in life. When you get older, that tattoo won't look like it used to (old, wrinkly people with tatoos ). And nobody really cares if you get one. It's like a painting, it's there, you notice it, you don't care, you move on. I see no reason for anyone to get a tattoo.

I cut my finger to the bone a few years ago, and the scar tissue is actually pushing my finger out of joint.

It depends on what kind of scar/what it looks like/how you get it.

If you get this gash across your back from when you single handedly fought off three armed muggers, that would be cool. Likewise, if you cut your arm open reaching into a garbage disposal trying to get an ice cube you dropped down it, that would be stupid.

I have a scar that runs from the middle of my back to my chest. I told my wife when I met her that it was from a shark bite, and she believed me (for a little while anyway, because I couldn't keep my face straight)  . It actually came from a lung operation when I was much younger!
