I'd like to suggest the creation of a art-dedicated forum section on HLP, as its hard to find the art in the swarm of topics in the Hard Light main forum.

This could also result in more comments on, you could say, more high quality art. I personally miss a lot of renders just because they are shoved to the 2nd page after a day...

Any opinions?

Er, I think the Hard Light forum WAS originally the art forum... Also, you gotta question then what qualifies as art. If I have, say, this in my sig, do all my posts qualify as art? How about the Unexplained Render series (well, will be a series)?

I think what he means by art is renders, concept art, etc.  I suppose Writing would fall under there too.

Good idea, I'm all for a separate Art forum here at HLP.  

And Stryke9, why not make a sig image with the Dead Frozen Goat of Justice?

But my only gripe is i have problem keeping track of all the topics.

Is there a forum hack you guys can put in that tracks the latest threads on ALL the categories?

hmm..not to mess up the idea wich i like but wouldn't the HL forum become kinda empty because most of topics ( from my POV ) are art.

HL is the off topic place, for anything and everything with reason. It wouldnt become empty.

don't think so. Art therads are hardly 1/3 of the threads. just look at the current page, and it's contest time.

It might be good for people to get more feedback on their art, and at the same time would let people who don't look at it very often direct their attention to other topics.

Oh, and Darkage, I like the new gif.  That's even better than headz
