This was around way before Weatherop started his....... interpretation.

   Did you have to start over?

Crit:  I dunno about the girders on the tail end of it.  I've always intepreted those dark lines as recessed, with the lighter center line flush with the rest of the surface.

Yup..I had to start over..

And I extruded those griders for rendering "show-off" purposes only.
Didn't save the scene after that since I wasn't completely satisfied.. I still have a lot of things to do

Now this is a good direction. Make sure to preserve the nicely armored look, which you have so far done. _{Eagerly awaiting WeatherOp...}

Small update..working on turrets and the lower side now..

Some wierd error messed up the whole rear section! Half the vertex are mising!

EDIT: Oh well, it's not that bad.. I'll have it fixed in 15 minutes....

Only thing thats not looking right to me atm (talking of the areas where it shows youve worked ofc), are the "plate like" things on the side of it. Their looking a bit terranish atm imo

Maybe make them on the same style as you made the head?

That wierd bug appeared again and messed up the whole lower section of the largest spike (the griders). I had to re-do it THREE times.. and I was so frustrated after the 3rd re-do, that I saved over the previous scene before I copied some other changes, like turrets and the underbelly...

So I had to do THAT again...

I finally managed to ix it all and do some more work on the rear end..

Been using it for 6 years..this is the first time something like this happened...

anyway, ina day or two I should be finished with the mesh itself...

Would anyone be willing to texture it, so I don't have to ? (and so I  can move over to the HTL Typhon and some vasudan-shivan hybrid destroyer)
