Political ads are nothing compared to WC CIC ads. With the money they put into ads, they could hire a webdesigner to replace that butt-ugly website of theirs. With our luck these WC CIC ads are pay-per-click ads too.

Chill down a bit. I think it is very humorous that they're more obsessed with us and FreeSpace than with their own pet brand. Have you seen their April fools joke by the way? If not, you should.

Since MatthewPapa owns the AdSense account that is used on both GW and HLP, he's been asked to email the AdSense team to request stop wcnews.com ads from displayed here and GW. Nothing more than that can be done I guess.

That's good. I also wanted to post something about this add. It's not really good when people entering the site and then get this....

It's really hilarious to see which ways they step on to rant against freespace. The niveau is certainly dropping constantly when such actions are already necessary.....

(Edit) I hope that can be stopped quickly. This isn't something minor, there is a 50% chance that this add is coming.. What kind of **** is this ? Community war sponsored by google ?

Relax guys, it's just the CIC's idea of a good joke. In fact, it's pretty darn funny, especially on this thread

I talked to LOAF, and apparently the ad cost them something like two dollars to put up. He was also surprised that the ad was still on the site.

Certainly not, because that will only be used to reflect against us and you just encourage them to continue it for the next decade. If they have some sort of pervers fun continuing that, let them.
