Well, lemme see...I saw the last two minutes of the game (which strangely took five-ten minutes) and I think I saw some commercial about Shields...

I didn't see the game, hardly suprising considering I'm British and don't give a damn about it... but the cheerleaders were nice

If you live/are from all of New England, feel the joy.  The Pats put the hurt on the Rams.  It was a beautiful thing

You know how hard it was for me to find a place to watch the superbowl?! I had to drive almost an hour out of the city to find this little bar that had it's own satalite dish tuned to some German channel, showing the superbowl. All commentary in German and no commercials, which practically took 50% of the experience away, but hell it was worth it!
I have returned... Again...

Oh my gosh, that's basically how I had to watch it! A friend's apartment has a cable hook-up in the wall (which they discovered a few months ago...), but their channel selection is very limited. The only channel they picked up that was carrying the SuperBowl was a German channel, SCA or SAC or something like that. All the commercials were in German, aside from the fact that they were all German-made, anyways - not the special stuff for the Bowl...

Oh, well. Go Jerusalem!   :loco:

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

It was on SkySports1 at like 12:30. About 2 minutes into the first quarter I said 'Patriots are gunna whoop 'em' and they did. I like being right. That interception in the Second Quarter (?) was amazing, the receiver didn't have a clue what was going on. Still, it wasn't as good as last year when there were 3 85+ runs in the space of 3 minutes. Thats was cool.

There's too much Man Utd corruption for my liking. Although I did enjoy watching Leeds get thrashed.

Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.
